Lieutenant-Colonel Wolverton’s bracelet found in a field, 78 years after

June 5, 1944, before leaving for Normandy, the officer finishes equipping himself.

The bracelet of an American soldier killed during the D-Day landings was found in Saint-Côme-du-Mont in the Manche department. The bracelet belonged to Lieutenant-Colonel Wolverton. It was an unexpected find for the D-Day Experience museum which makes it its main character.
